According to Siliconera, a Namco Bandai rep has confirmed that Splatterhouse is now officially slated for a 2010 release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Surge, the internal team that was tasked with finishing the game, is still taking care of development with some help from “a team in San Diego“.

The assets we’ve already seen didn’t really do it for me, but I’m looking forward to seeing what the game looks like now. Hopefully we’ll get more updates on this in the future.
