Square Enix has announced its lineup for the upcoming Tokyo Game Show, and while you might get to see a lot of games on display, you won’t be playing some of the more highly-anticipated titles.
Here’s a list of the noteworthy games Square Enix will be showing off, along with the currently announced status of what they will show for the specific games:
- Final Fantasy XIII: Trailer
- Final Fantasy Versus XIII: Trailer
- Final Fantasy Agito XIII:Trailer
- Dissidia: Final Fantasy: Trailer, Demo
- Dragon Quest IX: Trailer
- Chrono Trigger: Trailer
- Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days: Trailer, Demo
- Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep: Trailer, Demo
- Kingdom Hearts Coded: Trailer
- The 3rd Birthday: Trailer
- Valkyrie Profile: Trailer, Demo
- The Last Remnant: Undecided (no highlighted trailer or demo picture)
- Star Ocean 4: The Last Hope: Undecided
- Infinite Undiscovery: Trailer

While it’s a shame that we won’t be seeing a playable demo of anything from the Final Fantasy XIII series on the showroom floor, it’s understandable, seeing as they’re planning on releasing a demo with the Blu-ray release of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.
