Stake out with more Castlevania: DXChronicles gameplay footage

Given a day since it was revealed, the U.S. version of Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles has gotten quite a lot of limelight already. We’ve already posted loads of screens, some gameplay footage, and, just a while ago, the trailer itself. Who couldn’t resist seeing more footage for this remake! The video is screaming love and hearts (still-beating hearts, that is).

The video shows you more gameplay, including a fight with a serpent mini-boss out on a bridge (yeah, over troubled water, in case you’re asking) plus what it looks like when you activate the Holy Cross special item. Check out the “Traps and Platforms” vid:

Now I’ve heard a lot of stuff online about people buying a DS just to play the Castlevania games (Dawn of Sorrow and Portrait of Ruin). Now that the DXChronicles (Rondo of Blood and SotN) will be coming out for the PSP, I wouldn’t be surprised if those who still haven’t bought a PSP will be making a purchase soon with the same purpose. Konami, we heart you. Question is, will Dawn of Sorrow and Portrait of Ruin have a PSP version too? Time to “stake out” for some updates!
