Famitsu gives us another set of previous for Star Fox Command. This will be the final title for the game, and it’s bound to be sold sometime August this year. The Famitsu preview gives us the story of the new Star Fox game as well some screens on how the battle system will commence for the DS.

In Star Fox Command, you will be part of the Guerrilla group Star Fox that is out to stop the forces of Venom who are invading your city Lylat. As Fox McCloud, you and your team will be hunting for the group of the Star Wolf who are working for the Venom forces. The preview gives us a little extra on the love lives of Fox and his friends. It turns out that Fox’s relationship with Krystal will be shaky in this game. More so, Slippy Toad prefers to be with his girlfriend. Peppy Hare has dedicated his life being a general. While Falco Lombardi has flown to every part of space. Their lives will intertwine once more as they go on a mission to save the Lylat system once more.

The preview gives us a screen on how you can use the DS touch pad for battle assaults. The touch pad will be necessary in plotting out your battles before the attack. You can draw flight routes to our destination. This will refrain your plane from getting lost in battle. In the action phase of the game, the touch pad directs you towards the direction of your enemy. Red dots will tell you the location of an enemy. You can lock that plane during your attack until you finally destroy it.
