Super Mario 2, other VC titles rated in Australia
Australia‘s Office of Film and Literature has rated the latest Virtual Console titles headed to the region and gave them the green light to become available when Nintendo wishes.
The titles are Super Mario Bros. 2, Mario’s Super Picross and Harvest Moon: Magical Melody. All of which were published by Nintendo in past generation consoles.
Super Mario Bros. 2 was released in Japan initially and made its way to the West as a game included in Super Mario All-Stars. It was then renamed Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels for the American and European crowd.
The SNES Mouse-driven title Super Mario Picross is also headed to the land down under. The mouse will probably be replaced by the Wiimote, unless Nintendo plans a comeback for the peripheral.
Lastly, there’s that dandy fantasy farm sim Harvest Moon: Magical Melody which shipped for the GameCube but never made it to PAL territories. Now Aussies will be able to enjoy what they missed a few years back.
