Super Smash Bros. Brawl update: strike a pose with snapshot feature
“OMG, Yoshi! What are you doing to Mario?” – it’s times like these that you wish you had a camera to capture priceless moments while you’re playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl on your Nintendo Wii. Well, guess what? With one of the nifty new features, the snapshot feature, you can save your best moves or the funniest moments you have while playing the game.
Taking a picture in-game is very simple. If you find a particular scene in the middle of the action that you want to capture, all you have to do is pause the game to shoot it. After you pause the game, you can even change the camera view to get the best angle for your picture.
You can actually save all your images onto a SD memory card instead of your console’s internal memory. So go ahead and snap away to your heart’s content. And that’s not all – the snapshot feature allows you as well to share your immortalized images with other people you’ve registered as friends on the Nintendo WiFi Connection.
As for the blurred out bit at the last screenshot, Nintendo isn’t revealing anything about it yet. Since the game’s been delayed, apparently there are a lot of things the developers still want to put in before Super Smash Bros. Brawl hits the shelves. Hopefully, we’ll be able to enjoy all the brawling goodness this February as they promised.
Until then, enjoy the screenshots we have on the new and improved snapshot feature. And for those budding paparazzi out there, just remember: while the Wii console costs US$ 249.95 and the Super Smash Bros. Brawl game costs US$ 49.99, taking a picture of Yoshi riding Mario is simply… priceless.
