Take-Two says no to GTA V in 2010
Pachter predicted it’s coming out sometime in 2010. Todd Mitchell more recently guesstimated that it’s coming out by 2011. So is it coming out at all? Take-Two Interactive addresses the question, the “it” in reference being Grand Theft Auto V.

Following the announced delay of BioShock 2, Take-Two went on to reassure the fans that their other games slated for 2009, specifically GTA: Chinatown Wars for the PSP and the DLC Compendium disc for the Xbox 360 version of GTA IV, are still set for a release this year.
Not one to be satisfied, the fans then asked about the rumored GTA V title. Strauss Zelnick responds:
I think the key take away is that we fully anticipate we’ll be able to achieve our goals of operating the company profitability in [2010], a year that won’t have a multiplatform release of a new GTA.
Not entirely convincing, actually, but PS3 Center reports that “Take-Two was very tight lipped on the matter, despite being pressed hard about it during the Q&A session following the conference call.”
