College Hoops 2K8 to include 90 classic teams

2K Sports is sending out word that their College Hoops 2K8 title for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 2 will carry a total of 90 classic teams. Included in this lineup is Michael Jordan’s home team from earlier in his basketball career, the North Carolina Tarheels.

College Hoops 2K8 is currently pegged for a fall release, and is already looking to carry  plenty of good tunes and gameplay features for the fans. More details on some of the title’s teams are available in the Full Article.

Good news is coming in again from 2K Sports regarding their upcoming College Hoops 2K8 basketball game for the Sony PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360, and PlayStation 2. the company has just confirmed that a total of 90 teams will be included for 2K8‘s upcoming release.

Getting into specifics, 69 of these are expected to be recreations of top-tier teams from the past, including the 1982 North Carolina Tarheels (Michael Jordan’s team), and the 1990 Loyola Marymount Lions. College Hoops 2K8 is further expected to include six all-time conference teams, and 15 all-time school teams.

Given the amount of features and goodies that 2K Sports has been adding up to College Hoops 2K8, this looks to be an exciting release for the PS3, 360, and PS2 for this month November.
