Tales of Innocence, Lost Odyssey headline Media Create software sales chart
After last week’s new releases, it doesn’t come as a surprise when Media Create‘s latest software sales chart for December 3 to December 9 is almost dominated by previously released titles. Some newcomers such as Tales of Innocence and Lost Odyssey, however, fought for the top ten and came close to claiming Wii Fit ‘s throne.

Last week’s line-up of big releases may have carried over to this week, but Media Create‘s software sales chart for December 3 to December 9 is still graced by some newcomers. Nintendo’s Wii Fit and Wii Balance Board remain strong since launch, and Level 5‘s Nintendo DS game Professor Layton and Pandora’s Box unsurprisingly makes it to the top five after selling the most copies in the previous week.
New releases on the list are spearheaded by Namco Bandai‘s Tales of Innocence for the Nintendo handheld at third place. Mistwalker‘s Lost Odyssey for the Microsoft Xbox 360 enjoys its debuts by taking the seventh spot. PSP title Hot Shots Golf Portable 2 by Sony and Konami’s Powerful Pro-kun Pocket 10 for the DS are also present in the top ten.
As usual, Square Enix’ Dragon Quest IV, Nintendo’s Mario Party DS and Super Mario Galaxy, and other relatively fresh titles that sold more than a hundred thousand at launch don’t show signs of slowing down.
