Team Bondi hiring again, rumors on Xbox 360 L.A. Noire resurrected
After more than a year already, rumors just won’t die down about Team Bondi’s L.A. Noire title for the PS3 — and it also being for the Xbox 360. Yep, the rumor mill is at it again, this time as supposedly indicated by the Hiring sign plastered on the dev’s site. This means they need more people for the Xbox 360 version, they say.

How they got to this conclusion abstracting only from the fact that they’re looking for manpower is beyond me. But let’s do a history check on this un-kill-able rumor, shall we? In January of 2008, rumors first circulated that L.A. Noire won’t be a PS3 exclusive after all, because Team Bondi has called for lead animators for both the PS3 and Xbox 360 version. It was posited then that this could be for L.A. Noire, unless of course they have some other project that is multiplat.
And then, on September of 2008, Tom Crago of Tantalus spoke at the GC Asia 2008 and let it slip that the game will indeed be coming to the Xbox 360 as well. Despite this, neither Rockstar and Team Bondi reacted or clarified the matter, and so left over a cryptic cloud hanging over the fate of the game.
Now, we have yet another hiring opportunity from the devs, leading to another round of rumors of an Xbox 360 version. So is it, or is it not? That remains to be the question. I’d rather, though, that the next time this rumor comes up, there’ll be something more concrete to back up this claim.
