Argon modchip for the Nintendo Wii - Image 1As promised, Team InFeCtuS has once again delivered with its latest firmware supporting the Argon modchip for the Nintendo Wii. The final version of the SP1 Flash Argon firmware 1.0 was finally rolled out along with an extensive tutorial on understanding the mechanics behind the InFeCtuS and Argon modifications.

The developers noted that Wasabus firmware users can only install the Argon 9 Wires only if it was already installed on your Wii. This also requires that the console stay powered up during the updating process. Team InFeCtuS mentioned that this issue will be fixed in the next release to allow a more stable standalone version of the Argon modchip.

Also, don’t be surprised if your console takes a little while before recognizing a new disk inserted in it. This was one of the other issues the devs pointed out and that they are currently working on fixing this little problem.
