Althought Test Drive Unlimited 2 will be releasing in September, Atari is reassuring fans of the franchise’s first iteration that they will not be shutting down servers for it.

This was confirmed by Atari’s European parent company, Namco Bandai, to VG247. A spokesperson said, “I can confirm that Atari will not be shutting down servers.”

 

 

 

So to those who came across the rumor that said servers will be shut down, you can rest easy. Meanwhile, you may also now look forward to its sequel, coming out for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, on September 24, 2010 in Europe.
