Tetrominout: Tetris and Breakout hybrid for DS
Tetrominout is a mash-up of two classic games: Tetris and Breakout. This hybrid homebrew game for the DS is the brainchild of developer Karakh. The objective here is just like in Tetris: you have to create lines using the shaped blocks that fall one after the other. The Breakout part comes in the form of a ball that will obliterate what you’ve constructed so far.

The objective here is just like in Tetris: you have to create lines using the shaped blocks that fall one after the other. The Breakout part comes in the form of a ball that will obliterate what you’ve constructed so far. You can also use the ball to fix any mistakes you make while arranging the blocks.
One cool thing that Karakh mentioned is that the speed of the ball and the tetrominos are dependent on your skill. As he puts it, “If you suck at Tetris, the tetrominos will fall slower and the ball will move faster and vice versa.”
