TGS 2007: Samurai Warriors Katana fighting video
Koei‘s Samurai Warriors Katana puts you in the shoes of a general fighting and leading troops across a battlefield much like older Dynasty/Samurai Warriors games. Unlike its forefathers, which were played in a three-fourths view, this game is an FPS.
Your main character will be getting one melee and ranged weapon to fight off the hordes of enemies that come towards you. The weapons range from the Katana as seen in the video to spears, hammers, guns, and even a lethal yo-yo. Single attacks are performed by simply pressing a button while swinging the Wiimote allows you to attack multiple enemies. This video shows off the combat system of the game as well as the context specific super move.
This is a solid game that has already captured the attention of many Wii gamers. In case you’re interested in picking this game up it is already out in Japan and is currently slated for a December 3 release in the U.S.
