The final roster: 20 Wii launch titles

We’ve had a list of the Wii’s “launch titles” for some time now. However, those lists were pretty vague with some misgivings of which games would be actually available this Sunday or would eventually become available by the end of December. Nintendo has now released the final list of games that we can choose during launch date.

Today’s the 17th. The launch is on the 19th. That gives us two oh-so-short days to choose among which of these 20 titles (well, excluding Wii Sports because that comes bundled with the console) we’re going to get:

Now would you look at that?! You could have a horseback ride through Hyrule, exterminate invading rabbit hordes with plungers, unite with fellow mutants, barrel through off-road mountain tracks, tackle big burly men on the gridiron, “magically” bend elements to your own will… Given a budget, how could a wee little gamer choose between all those games?! There’s sports games, party games, adventure games, action games, and so much more…

On top of that, there’s also going to be games in available through the Virtual Console, as well as other titles that will be released in the next five weeks.
