The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass European release dated
Europeans finally get a release date for the highly anticipated sequel to Wind Waker. The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for the Nintendo DS has been dated to hit European shelves on October 19, half a month after the video game hits U.S. stands, and will be priced at EUR 30 (US$ 40).
The game has been a smash success in Japan where it sold more than 350,000 copies in its first two days. It also won Best Handheld Game at E3 for 2006 and 2007. The game will feature over 7 new dungeons, and players will control Link by making full use of the stylus to move and interact with objects including fighting and sailing.
The latest installment in Link’s adventures take him to the waters as Tetra (Princess Zelda) is kidnapped by a Ghost Ship and taken to foreign lands. Using the Phantom Hourglass as protection from cursed dungeons, Link must once again take up his sword to rescue the princess.
