The Mad King returns for Halloween on Guild Wars

The Mad King returns for Halloween on Guild Wars - Image 1If humor and lethality could mix, one result of its union could come in the form of the Mad King. His (seriously) demented highness is returning for Halloween in NCsoft‘s Guild Wars, and there’s really little you could do to stop him and his horde of similarly ghastly followers.

But in exchange for an attentive ear and a willing (and brave) spirit, his Highness Thorn will grant many a feverish chuckle to all, plus some gifts to boot!

With his return, Thorn will invite players to join in on the Costume Brawl. Guild War players can suit up with the attire of their favorite characters in Guild Wars lore and combat each other for prizes.

The Teller of Tales will also take flight once again, where his Majesty Thorn will indulge the wary listener in a tale or two. Collectors from far and wide will set up shop in town, beckoning the blessed of warriors to exchange their items for a frightful surprise.

Towns on both sides of the fence will be decorated to majestic splendor (fit for a mad king, as they say), dotting the surroundings with ample scenery to compliment the perfect holiday (screen)shot. The Mad King drops anchor on Lion’s Arch and Kamadan on October 26, Friday, and will continue to share woeful recollections until October 31.
