The pumpkins are screaming in the Overlord gameplay video
We’re sure most of you already have the Overlord demo, but for the poor fellows who haven’t had the chance to (or waiting for the PC demo), here’s a bit of a sneak peek via a video.
Basically, the objective in Codemasters‘ Overlord (Xbox 360 and PC) is to amass hordes of minions then conquer, destroy, and rule. You’re the new Overlord so you’ve got to learn the ropes. An older looking minion tells you the mission and how to summon the basic type of minions – Browns. In the video, we also see farmer Bob whose farm has been overrun by a bunch of Halflings. The poor farmer has been demoted to scarecrow and that has caused the poor guy to lose his mind (the sun exposure, perhaps).
