There Is No Nintendo BluWave
There is some really annoying rumour going around about a “Nintendo BluWave.” It might be the official name of the Revolution in the end, but I doubt it. The “evidence” that people are using is derived from, firstly, Nintendo’s name for its new strategy (“Blue Ocean”), and, secondly, because of a certain sound file that is supposedly from Ubisoft.
I’ve managed to listen to the sound blurb and it is definitely not by Ubisoft. I know enough French to know that this is fake. The fact that the man starts by saying “Ubisoft of France” in English should be like an alarm going off. He then starts talking very slow, broken French with a bad accent.
It’s fake, people, sorry. Nothing but someone wanting to cause a stir.
