Time Crisis trademark found, new title in the works?

Could there be a new Time Crisis game lurking around in the corner? That appears to be the case, according to the European Union trademark database.

Said trademark for a certain “Time Crisis Strike” was registered by Namco Bandai on December 26, 2008 supposedly for use with video game programs and amusement machines. From this, it’s most likely a safe guess that this is going to be for the arcades. But it’s also possible that they could be prepping for a consoles release.

If that is the case, then Time Crisis fans surely have a reason to celebrate. Cos while Time Crisis 4 came out for the PS3, it was, nonetheless, an arcade port. A shiny, brand new one couldn’t possibly hurt, right?
