Title_Uninstaller v0.1: WAD unistaller, doesn't require original WAD - Image 1

It’s easy to lose track of your WAD files once installed, especially if you have a lot of Wiibrew in your system. The problem is trying to uninstall the WAD file once you do lose track of where you put it (a problem that illumbrella shared in the forums). If that’s the case, Title_Uninstaller from Redbird may be able to help you out.

The program is similar to waninkoko‘s WAD Uninstaller, except it doesn’t need the original WAD file to remove channel ticket. Here’s further explanation from the developer’s notes:

What it does:

  • Sample titles installed on the Wii (only normal channels, nothing in the system).
  • Allows you to select a particular title and delete it.
  • The process of erasure is identical to that of WAD_manager, but removing the information from the Wii itself rather than require an external WAD. The advantage is that it is more convenient and does not require the original, which sometimes are not taken, or if we doubt the same version, etc. …

Precautions:

  • The process of erasure is the same as the WAD_manager, so you should not give problems. Deletes everything that needs to be deleted, but always remember that traces of what will be installed (daily, etc. …).
  • If you install Paradox type channels, or others who use the same identifier that HBC ( ‘HAXX’) you will all of them. The problem is that you can not know what the real HBC.
  • If you delete the HBC intentionally or by mistake, the program can give an elbow DUMP or leave the Wii hung back while trying to HBC. The erasure will be carried out correctly, but the program can not go back to something that no longer exists. That only happens with the original HBC. The other channels, although having the same identifier that HBC should not give problems.
