To (UM)D or not to (UM)D: NIS America ponders for Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman

Badman - Image 1News has it that NIS America is interested in re-releasing Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! What Did I Do To Deserve This? in a limited edition UMD format. But for that interest to transcend into actuality, the publisher is waiting for a sign from you guys. Would you like to see Badman in actual physical disc form?

Badman - Image 1The new downloadable scheme for the PSP Go just might do the trick in reviving the UMD format, ironically enough. With the launch of the PSP Go, and with people not rolling out the red carpet for its warm welcome, we’re actually having publishers join in on this renewed “efforts” at getting the UMD back on track — if you can even call it that.

News has it that NIS America is interested in re-releasing Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! What Did I Do To Deserve This? in a limited edition UMD format. But for that interest to transcend into actuality, the publisher is waiting for a sign from you guys. Badman was originally released as a download-only title.

If by November 13th, pre-orders for the UMD version reach the 1,000 mark, then they will go ahead and put the game in disc. If not, then they won’t.
