ToneShop build 9: Now converting ring tones to the iPhone

We’re letting you know about the release of ToneShop, a Windows-based application that allows you to load and convert your tunes into the more common ring tone file formats out there.
ToneShop build 9 in particular is now capable of creating .m4r (AAC) files, meaning that your custom tones can also be loaded into iTunes, and into Apple iPhone. Here’s a lowdown of the other file types ToneShop can currently churn out:
- MP3
- AAC (M4A)
- WAV (uncompressed PCM and ADPCM)
- AMR-NB
- AMR-WB (Nokia TrueTones)
- MMF (Yamaha SMAF)
