Too pricey: Nyko removes the Wii Party Station from their product line
If you were hoping that Nyko would be releasing their Wii Party Station accessory soon, we’ve got some bad news. The company has sent out word that they’ve decided to axe it from their product line-up, citing that it would have cost too much to manufacture the said peripheral.
Had they decided to push through with production, the final product would have cost consumers a hefty US$ 50, instead of its previously projected US$ 25 price tag. The Wii Party Station, as you guys may recall, carried four Wiimote holders, four drink holders/coolers, a built-in fan, and LED score boards.
The Nyko Wii Party Station made its first appearance at this year’s E3 convention.
