Toy Story Mania! announced, comes with 3D glasses

They may not have Sony‘s fancy shmancy 3-D digital cinema projector that they showcased during CES, but Nintendo still beat them to the first-ever (to my knowledge) game that will feature stereoscopic 3D graphics. Disney has announced Toy Story Mania!, a new shooting game that will be packaged with 3D glasses.

They may not have Sony‘s fancy shmancy 3D digital cinema projector that they showcased during CES, but Nintendo still beat them to the first-ever (to my knowledge) game that will feature stereoscopic 3D graphics.

Disney has announced Toy Story Mania!, a new shooting game that will be packaged with 3D glasses. The upcoming Wii game will be based on their series of Toy Story movies.

The game will include multiplayer support for up to four players, with competitive and co-op modes. It will be released sometime this Fall. Don’t know just what kind of 3D glasses will be used, but I’m guessing it’ll be the traditional red/blue combo glasses, unlike Sony’s tech, which features 3D in full colors and requires various hardware.
