Toys ‘R Us ad also shows Xbox 360 price cut
An ad image from Wal-Mart was earlier posted to add the first visual evidence of a Microsoft Xbox 360 price cut coming this summer. Cheap Ass Gamer has received another image from its users, this time one of a Toys ‘R Us ad conveying the same message.
No indication was made as of which Xbox 360 model will get the cut, but one thing is consistent: The retail price will dip by US$ 50 starting this August. Details on whether it’s a US-only thing remains scarce.
A price cut has been expected by analysts led by Wedbush Morgan’s Michael Pachter as a response to the US$ 100 drop in Sony PlayStation 3 retail rates prior to the 2007 E3 show. Looks like the analysts are getting their vindication soon.
