Arcade shooting game Trigger Heart Exelica will finally be arriving on Xbox LIVE on Wednesday, February 27, after it was announced a few months ago for a winter release in Japan and other territories. Developed by Warashi and published by Sega, Triggerheart Exelica was originally released in 2006 for Japanese arcades and was then ported to the Dreamcast, with the latter version having added story and arrange modes.
After mankind was attacked by the Ver’mith, only the Triggerhearts have the ability and the power to destroy them. Triggerhearts are humanoid weapons systems with human-like personalities (also called mecha musume), and in this vertically-shooting arcade game, Triggerhearts Exelica and Crueltar are the only ones that can help humankind.
There are five levels and three difficulty settings in Warashi’s and Sega’s Xbox LIVE game. Trigger Heart Exelica also boasts of its unique anchor shot element, Variable Boss Attack System (or V.B.A.S.), high definition graphics, and cool background music.
