TriXie Interviews ST TheKing
ST who? For those who are not familiar with this guy, he’s a Quebec student, a former beta tester, and he’s got the highest gamerscore on Xbox Live, that’s what makes him stand out from the rest of the gamers. Although he was already knocked out by RabbiLo Wang, still the Xbox people believe that ST TheKing is indeed one of a kind, that is why he was interviewed by TriXie, Xbox’s resident interviewer.
When asked what is the story behind his gamertag, ST said “My gamertag goes back from the beta, it was TheKing back then. I was looking for something that was easy to remember and that could inspire some respect, since I can hold my own in almost every game. But then I got tired of getting called Elvis, so I added ST (Sadistic Tendencies), which is my clan tag.”
In relation to his gaming exploits, he was then asked how many hours does he devote to gaming wherein he answered, “A LOT. Since the launch of Xbox 360 I think I have played over 1000 hours, and I’m being conservative with this number. I play at least four hours a day, but when I get a game I really like or when I really want an achievement, this number can go WAY up.”
With regards to what he thinks is the best thing about 360, he replied that the best for him is “the cross chat system, it really makes things easier and it’s so useful. The only thing they need to add is to allow us to host multiple person chat lobbies if we have a fast enough connection.”
He also gave his opinion about the best game of all time, he said “That’s going back to the SNES: Lufia 2: Rise of the Sinistrals. Best RPG ever if you ask me. It had it all—story, gameplay, music, depth, and it was fun!!! It’s the kind of game you hope they never do a sequel to, because it just couldn’t be better.”
As a closing note, he said that in ten years he “would like to be working for a major software company, hopefully at Microsoft working on Xbox or Xbox Live, and of course still gaming.”
