Josh Holmes of Propaganda Games recently dropped by the IGN blogs to make a very important announcement about their upcoming next-generation FPS Turok for the Sony PlayStation 3 and the Microsoft Xbox 360. There’s a demo disc coming to Gamestop outlets nationwide and you’ll get it if you pre-order the game.

While this may sound a little too enterprising for a lot of people accustomed to getting their demos from either Xbox Live or the PlayStation Network, Propaganda Games actually has an added item to sweeten the deal. With the US$ 5.00 that you’ll use to pre-order Turok, you’ll get not only the demo disc which contains some 30 minutes of gameplay, you’ll also receive a Turok shirt free of charge.

The Turok shirt, according to Holmes, is of good quality. It’s in chic black with the Turok logo out front and a small “T” at the back of the shoulder. The supply is limited, so go get yours while you still can.

A cave level, a dinosaur hunting field replete with man-eating behemoths, and a huge crash site were handpicked to be served as sample levels for players to explore.

Turok for the Sony PlayStation 3 and the Microsoft Xbox 360 is based on the popular American comic book series. In its video game iterations, hunting dinosaurs and aliens was the business at hand and Turok‘s reputation was built on the sickest weapons ever seen. Toys like the Cerebral Bore and shotguns that spewed razors made for some of the goriest fun the late 90’s has seen.
