Ubisoft: Haze only going PlayStation 3…for now

Haze box art - Image 1Has the PlayStation 3 picked up a game exclusive? For the moment, it seems so.

Ubisoft has issued an announcement stating that Free Radical‘s Haze FPS game for the PlayStation 3 is the only version of the title in development. Haze for the PS3 is currently scheduled for a November 19 launch.

A company spokesman further reported that “the official statement on PC and Xbox 360 is that these platforms are not confirmed.” Take note that Ubisoft did not say outright that they will be dropping Haze for the PC or Xbox 360, with the company noting that it planned to keep itself open to “new partnerships” in the near future.

This official statement could simply mean they’re focusing their attention on creating the PS3 version first. If we can confirm one thing, it’s that Sony‘s machine will be getting this FPS title earlier. Drop back in case we pick up info related to this news snippet.
