Ubisoft, Penny Arcade reveal Prince of Persia storybook
Well now here’s something pretty: a Prince of Persia storybook that’s done in an art style reminiscent of Samurai Jack or Clone Wars. (/fangasm!)
Puuurtty! This little storybook here’s quite a charm, eh? Ubisoft emailed us earlier about the Prince of Persia storybook they have up on their official website for the game.
Considering the upcoming game on the PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and DS is cel-shaded, you’d think the story book would follow the same art style, but it actually doesn’t. And it still works! The art is done in a style reminiscent of Samurai Jack or Clone Wars. (/fangasm)
The entire project is actually a joint effort between Ubisoft and Penny Arcade. Today marks the first day of their ongoing “Stories and Secrets” online picture book feature. From today up until the game’s release on December 2, they’ll be revealing more and more of the book’s pages.
For now, all we have are the cover and first two pages. You can check it out for yourself through the Via link below.
Ooh, I sooo wish they actually release this on print! Maybe as part of a limited edition, perhaps? C’mon Ubisoft, make our Christmases special!
