Ubisoft: Splinter Cell: Conviction delayed to turn it from “brilliant” to “awesome”
When news broke yesterday that Ubisoft had delayed Splinter Cell: Conviction again, the first thought that came to mind was that they did it to avoid the very busy Q1 2010 release window. Apparently that wasn’t the reason.
When news broke yesterday that Ubisoft had delayed Splinter Cell: Conviction again, the first thought that came to mind was that they did it to avoid the very busy Q1 2010 release window. Apparently that wasn’t the reason.
Ubisoft clarified to Eurogamer that Conviction‘s delay was made to give the game a bit more polish. “The game looks brilliant, but we want it to be awesome,” a spokespoerson said.
Instead of February, Conviction is now slated for release sometime in April. And just to tease fans even further, they’ve also released a new trailer.
