Not a fan.
Ubisoft has told Eurogamer that they are set on making their online services platform, the DRM, will “evolve and improve.” And yes, they intend for it to stay.
“Most forthcoming Ubisoft PC titles will use our online services platform,” said a spokesperson. “As with any online technology, we aer constantly working to evolve and improve it.”
Improving on it sounds like a good plan. So far, the DRM’s been getting a lot of complaints because it’s been keeping fans from playing their games, and sometimes it takes days for the system to get back on up.
We’ll be keeping a close watch on this.
