Ultimate Flash Operation v3 Safe Edition
When PSP homebrew coder almost219 released Ultimate Flash Operation v2.2 a few days ago, the developer also announced that a much safer version 3.0 of this flasher application would be coming soon. And here it is – UFO‘s latest update, which carries the previously announced security checks to minimize bricking, along several other new features:
Flash Unlimited Themes (OE, M33)- Flash a Countless Number of Files (OE, M33)
- Dump Complete Firmware (OE, M33)
- Backup Files for Recovery (OE, M33)
- Recovery Mode (OE, M33)
- Mix n’ Match Mode (OE)
- LOLstation Fix (OE)
- Create Flash Mode (OE) (Testing on M33)
- Multiple Security Checks (OE, M33)
- Simple File Browser (OE, M33) (Recoding for more functionality)
- USB Mode (OE, M33)
- Take Screenshots (OE, M33)
- Automatically Overclocks PSP for less lag (due to custom fonts)
Users are reminded that UFO has been designed to work on PSP firmwares 3.30, 3.40, and 3.51 only. almost219 also notes at the QJ.NET Forums that this release does not carry 3.51 M33-7 themes, so you’ll have to create your own. Lastly, for the CFW 3.51 M33 users, be sure to have your themes properly converted before flashing them to your PSP. Failing to do so may lead to bricking your unit.
