Word spread that Midway Games‘ much-awaited FPS, Unreal Tournament 3, won’t be available on all platforms by the end of 2007. Well, you can cheer up and forget about that, as Midway has cleared up that issue and has finally released a statement.

According to the company, contrary to reports that the PS3 version won’t be available until 2008, all systems are still go on its end, and the Xbox 360, the PC and the PS3 versions of the game WILL all be available by the second half of 2007. So there you go, everyone. There’s no need to cancel that LAN party, and there’s now more reason to keep practicing those strafing techniques of yours.

Now if only they would also decide to explain why they decided to change the name of the game, then our curiosity can finally be fully satisfied.
