UsbXmb v0.1 – USB mode from Sony PSP XMB

Now we give you news from the French PlayStation Portable homebrew front. Coder darksidious, mostly known for LuaProg and PSP Tools, has released a new plugin known as UsbXmb.
The prx is currently on version 0.1 and just like its name suggests, it provides users the ability to go to USB mode via the Sony handheld’s even without the need to have a USB connection. Pretty nifty, eh?
Anyway, since the file doesn’t come with its own Readme.txt file we decided to provide you with the installation guide. Note that this was translated using an online language engine:
- Download it
- Dezipper was the root of the ms0
- Edit the file VSH.txt present in SEPLUGINS and add this line: Ms0: / seplugins / usbxmb.prx
- Jump in the recovery mode and go into plugins
- Activate plugin appoint usbxmb.prx
- And voila install the prx is
Since there’s no documentation that comes with this plugin, just be sure that you know exactly what you’re doing to avoid any kind of problems.
