Valve: E3 surprise is “Portal 2 themed”

It’s not Half-Life 2: Episode 3, it’s not Half-Life 3, it’s not Source Engine 2. It’s not all of those things. Valve will be presenting at E3, and the surprise they have for us, they confirmed, is in fact “Portal 2 themed”.

Valve made the reveal alongside the news that the game’s been delayed to next year, 2011:

 

“To ask questions about how close we all came to dying, or to ask futile questions about the previously announced E3 *** PORTAL-2-THEMED-FOR-GOD’S SAKE*** surprise…”

 

It’s still a surprise what this “themed” business is all about, but at least we can set our sights on something more specific. But just take note in case the wording might confuse you and get your hopes up high: it’s themed after Portal 2 but it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s Portal 2 something. Or I could be wrong.
