Valve: No Half-Life 2: Episode 3 at E3

Valve recently cancelled a Portal 2 appearance at E3 and replaced it with an unnamed “surprise”. A few days back, an image proclaiming “Freeman June 14th” started circulating around the net. Does this mean we’re finally going to see Half-Life 2: Episode 3 at E3? No.

Valve recently cancelled a Portal 2 appearance at E3 and replaced it with an unnamed “surprise”. A few days back, an image proclaiming “Freeman June 14th” started circulating around the net. Does this mean we’re finally going to see Half-Life 2: Episode 3 at E3? No.

Gabe Newell, Valve’s top honcho, recently told fan site HalfLife2.net that the “Freeman June 14th” image is a flat-out fake. Additionally, Newell also revealed that the “surprise” isn’t Episode 3.

Well, E3’s just about a week away so we’ll get all our answers soon.
