Well, the protagonist of that game, Milon, starred in another game called DoReMi Fantasy: Milon’s DokiDoki Adventure. The latter classic game will be making its way to US gamers via Nintendo’s Virtual Console service.
Originally known as DoReMi Fantasy: Milon no DokiDoki Daibouken, Milon’s second adventure still has our tone deaf hero encasing bad guys within bubbles and sending them flying off screen. The game appears to be an eclectic hybrid of such games as Super Mario World, Bubble Bobble and Ghosts ‘n Goblins.
While it contains comic mischief and certain references to alcohol, the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) has nevertheless granted an E rating to DoReMi Fantasy: Milon’s DokiDoki Adventure. Watch for Hudson Entertainment’s classic platformer to come out on the Virtual Console soon.
