Video: BioShock seven-minute gameplay montage

Half-Life 2 meets American McGee’s Alice meets Galerians in this seven-minute gameplay montage of the highly-anticipated horror FPS for the PC and Xbox 360, BioShock. We’re going to warn you in advance: this is NOT for the faint of heart. Pretty much a series of brief gameplay clips snipped together – and probably the scariest gameplay clips yours truly has ever seen – this seven-minute monster shows us a brief glimpse in the twisted world of Rapture, mainly some of the ways you can go about killings things in it.

Shooting, blunt trauma with a heavy object (read: wrench), electrocution, immolation – even using your enemy’s thrown projectiles against them – there’s quite a number of ways in which you can dispose of the army of demented nurses, gatherers and other townfolk in BioShock, and they’re all looking pretty good. Not to mention a neat, if brutal trick where you can briefly stun an onrushing enemy with a blast of electricity before blowing their brains out with a casually-aimed headshot.
