Sadly, even Nintendo isn’t without its share of software glitches from its latest release containing the red-suited, mustachioed plumber in his latest adventure. YouTube member lole2stfu was able to take a video of a literal game breaking glitch in Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii.

After working his way up to the final battle with Bowser, lole2stfu mentioned that Bowser just “fell into outer space” while on the final planet. The result was a very lonely plumber running aimlessly looking for his green scaled nemesis to battle.

It was also noted that using Mario to run around causes the screen to pan outside the planet’s view when moving too far from it, as if it was still locked into the erstwhile Bowser. The game basically locks itself without progressing afterwards.

Even switching into the first-person view doesn’t seem to do anything as well. And to make matters worse, there have also been similar reports of the same thing happening. Hopefully, this was just a small coincidental glitch that won’t affect every gamer who recently bought a copy of Super Mario Galaxy.
