Video: call plays with the Wiimote in Pro Evolution Soccer 2008
If you think you’ve seen everything there is when it comes to playing Konami‘s Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, PS2, mobile, PSP, and DS), then you haven’t seen the nifty new features that the Wii version will be sporting. In addition to controlling the action with your Wiimote, you can even call some game-winning plays while directing the action on the field.
Don’t believe us, check out the gameplay video we have through the link in the full article!
Whether you want to call it Winning Eleven or Pro Evolution Soccer, the latest version of the premiere soccer league sim will be hitting Wii consoles sometime early next year.
With that said, Wii console gamers should start sharpening those Wiimote skills if they want to be able to call the right plays or make those killer shots against the resident goalie.
Recently, Konami has released a gameplay video for the Japanese version of the game on the Wii platform. Winning Eleven 2008 (a.k.a. Pro Evolution Soccer 2008) makes extensive use of Wiimote and Nunchuk to call plays, as well as direct the action itself.
PES 2008 was released on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, PS2 and mobile phone platforms last October, with the PSP and Nintendo DS ports arriving last November.
You can catch more of the action by following the Via link to the official Konami website for the video. Enjoy!
