Video: Meet the swearing, drinking Demoman of Team Fortress 2

Yes, it’s that time again where we get acquainted with one of Valve Corporation‘s Team Fortress 2 player classes, and this time it’s the grenade-launching Demoman. With explosive rounds, explosive traps and even an explosive temper to boot, this guy is certainly someone not to be taken lightly, even when you outnumber him five to one.

So what’s new with this Team Fortress 2 video? Not much. We still get the same greatly-animated intro that not only gives us a hint of what this particular class can do in the battlefield, but also his personality – and we see the Demoman’s slightly-inebriated one go through its roller-coaster up and downs.

It might be the alcohol, but then again, it could also be the fact that he’s surrounded with explosives and he knows that they’re as dangerous to him as they are to others.

Looking at Team Fortress 2‘s overall visual style, there’s something to be said about going for a stylized look against going for an uber-realistic look. While we can all gawk and coo at the most realistic bump-mapping and graphics ever, we also shouldn’t forget that going the opposite direction – the artistic slant of visuals – is also important.

That’s enough from us, you should get going to Team Fortress 2‘s video. Enjoy!
