Video – My Word Coach DS/Wii connectivity demo
More DS to Wii connectivity hijinks in this demo video of Ubisoft‘s My Word Coach for the Nintendo Wii. In it, we see players using their DS lites as a writing pad of sorts, to fill in the missing letter of the word currently on the TV screen. A good thing, since the game IS time-based, and writing the missing letter down on the DS with the stylus is certainly quicker and easier than using the Wiimote.
It’s also worth noting that there’s little lag between the TV screen and the DS, as well as the game being able to make out handwriting more efficiently. And while the actual connectivity between the DS and the Wii is merely as a more convenient controller, it’s great that Nintendo’s spreading the next-gen love to their current-gen brainchilds, rather than simply concentrate on one.
Enough chatter from us, though. Enjoy the video!
