Rockstar has announced an exclusive partnership with GameStop to offer an exclusive pre-ordered bonus content for its upcoming wild west epic shooter Red Dead Redemption.

 

 

 

Rockstar has announced an exclusive partnership with GameStop to offer an exclusive pre-ordered bonus content for its upcoming wild west epic shooter Red Dead Redemption.

According to the press release, those who pre-order the game via GameStop’s website will have the power to vote for their choice of one of three in-game outfit challenges as their exclusive pre-order bonus. Players can vote to choose an outfit that will be earned by completing a unique set of in-game challenges. Once the challenges are completed and the outfit is unlocked, the outfit will uniquely affect how the surrounding world responds to the game’s protagonist, John Marston.

 

Alex Moulle-Berteaux, head of marketing for Rockstar Games said:

I’m really looking forward for this game. Rockstar said that they will be releasing more info about the three different outfits and their in-game effects over the course of January. The game will be out on April 27, 2010 for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
