Warhammer: first images of the Empire Army
EA Mythic has released the first battalion of images of the Empire Army from Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. The third army includes Bright Wizard in a striking blood-red/flame-orange Bob-Mackie-like ensemble topped with Don King’s hairstyle. A Warrior Priest who, from his outfit, obviously does not preach brotherly love. A female Bandit so heavily armed we think she’s going out on a date with Kobe Bryant.
The new images also give us a glimpse of the architecture of the Warhammer world which we can only describe as hell for people who do clean windows. And a golden statue of Emperor Franz
Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning begins when the Empire falls under the spell of a deadly Chaos Plague more terrible than bird flu. It transforms its victims into mindless, savage killers. Emperor Karl Franz has the unenviable job of keeping order as the plague spreads across the whole of the Empire.
Looting and robbery replace commerce. Gangs and ruffians take over the streets. As if these are not clear enough signs that the Empire is headed for trouble, a strange omen – an eclipse that turns the sky as red as blood – appears. The only good news here is that real estate property prices have nowhere to go but down.
This epic fantasy war game features a revolutionary Realm vs. Real(R) (RvR) gameplay and will be released on the PC in Fall 2007.
