What happens to Arena teams when the season ends?
The first Arena season in World of Warcraft is well underway, and players have even started asking about when exactly the first season ends and when the next one starts. Blizzard has yet to give any specific dates, but other questions have already come to the fore. Like for instance, what exactly will happen to Arena teams after the season is over?
That’s the question that WoW forum member Sense has asked on the official WoW forums. Will the teams be reset, with everyone pushed back to a 1500 rating? Will records, names and numbers be wiped? Blizzard poster Nethaera was quick to provide some answers. Here’s what was posted in reply to the question:
From what I understand your teams should stay intact. As far as what will happen with ratings, that is still to be determined. It’s possible they will be reset, but that is not confirmed at this time. Everyone will keep the arena points they earned toward purchasing gear.
Hopefully Blizzard will release more details on what happens after the season before it ends. Keep checking back here on the QJ WoW blog for updates.
