What if?: musings on imaginary WoW features

WoWNo doubt, WoW had become the MMO mogul for years. To date, it has around seven million subscribers and counting, and has been touted as the “undisputed # 1 MMORPG in the market”.

Interestingly, what makes this game stand out is its execution of “core MMORPG mechanics” that gamers have been familiar with: there are quests, experience, and gold to name a few.

Special as it is, our source goes on a little “What if?” joy ride, and imagines WoW with other features some MMOs boast of. Undeniably, it will be interesting if WoW will have a “player housing” option. Why, virtual couples can now have their own WoW lovenests!

How about imitating EVE Online‘s virtual world, where players run it? Imagine guilds having a monopoly on a particular place… Then there’s DDO ‘s loot system, which in the end, makes everybody satisfied as one is given the item suited for his or her character. Cool, eh?

Well, as much as we love daydreaming, we equally love WoW as it is now. How about you, what do you think?
