The Halo Legends stint in the Waypoint has come to a close, so now we say hello to the promised DVD and Blu-ray releases of the anime’d up stories from the Halo universe. Come February 16th, you can get copies of Halo Legends in three different servings. Which of these are you picking up?

There’s the regular DVD release for only US$ 19.98, but there’s also a special edition that comes in two discs, containing the following:

• The Making of Halo Legends – An introduction to Halo Legends followed by a making-of segment for each episode.
• Halo: Gaming Evolved – Explaining the Halo phenomenon from its inception as an Xbox video game to a present day entertainment franchise.
• Audio Commentary with directors Frank O’Connor and Joseph Chou
• Widescreen (1.78:1)

The third release, the Blu-ray one, contains all that plus Halo: The Story So Far, a run-down of all the happenings in the world of Halo. This one retails at US$ 34.99.
