Widescreen bug for BioShock discovered
Widescreen gaming fans, you may want to shield your eyes. It seems there’s a bug in BioShock (Xbox 360, PC) that you guys aren’t going to like, as it has something to do with the field of vision inherent in the game.
According to a post from Paddywak on the 2K Games forums, it seems that the field of vision remains the same regardless of screen type you’re using. For people who aren’t using widescreen, this won’t be a big deal, but widescreen users hoping to get everything out of the game will be disappointed to find out that the top and bottom of the screen (the red portion in the picture) gets cut off.
The forum posters on the post we found seem to agree that it’s a problem on both the PC and 360 versions of the game. That being said, we’re hoping a fix comes for this issue soon, as it’s certainly unappealing to buy a game for your special widescreen setup only to end up settling for less.
Anyone experienced the same thing?
